At first glance, soap and food might seem like an unlikely pairing. But for Gridley's owner, Michele, they've always gone hand in hand.
Long before she ever made her first batch of soap, she was happiest in the kitchen. After she and her husband bought their first home, she filled the garden with herbs and couldn't wait to cook and bake with fresh ingredients. That love of creating with nature eventually led her to soapmaking, where she discovered another way to celebrate scent, botanicals, and craftsmanship.
Smell and taste are deeply connected. The same appreciation for aroma that inspires our handcrafted soaps also draws us to exceptional culinary experiences.
Our Culinary Collection features some of Michele's favourite vegan foods and pantry staples—products she'd proudly serve in her own kitchen. They're thoughtfully chosen for their quality, flavour, and the passion of the people who make them.
